Pengalaman di Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan 2016/2017
Heya guys, im your senior and an ex student of Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan.
I will tell you guys about my own experiences as the newest member of Matriks student.
This is only for Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan.Other campus might be different okay.
First day(Registration day) -
Each of you have been told which cluster you have been assigned to,so just follow it.Once you had enter Matrik go to the specific cluster to register and get your room key,make sure every document had been prepared and arranged so that everything will go on smoothly.After that ,you can start to unpack your belonging (Note:No male are allowed to enter the female dormitory and vice versa for male dormitory) .At the same time,parents are needed to go dewan for explanation/speech/lecture. You just continue to unpack and clean up your new room and might as well getting to know your rommate.
Girls and Boys room are all the same design.Later you will be summoned by the Fasi (your senior who will be in charge of you guys) to go to the library .To take a picture for your Matrik Card (Student Card) and take a set of kain Batik, a bag and 2 baju kokurikulum. Then you will be send back to your room and your parents are also done with being lecture on. Finally one of the saddest moment in our life is to get separated with our families and saying goodbye to them.(BTW we are only allowed to go home once a month hahaha so brace yourself juniors).
In my session it was in Ramadhan so muslim student are needed to gathered at the surau and berbuka together,non muslim can eat in their own room.But before that you guys are instructed to go to cafeteria to buy your food and go to surau.After done,solat sunat tarawih student can go back to their room and rest for tomorrow.
The next day at 4 am the fasi will come and knock your door to wake you up and start to prepare for sahur. Later go to surau to solat subuh together. Non muslim can continue to sleep/stay in their room. Later will be rejoin with muslim student.
Then.....sorry guys I forgot what happen....
Later you will be given a paper that will show your class and module.Once you have known,you will be arranged according to your class.You will be guided around the matriks.Lastly they will bring you to your temporary classroom. You will start with self introduction of course and you will be playing with your teacher..... and the day pass on and on until you get your timetable and started to attend classes.
A little Note from me here:
Most of the activities happening around are being told by the whatsapp. So always be sharp.Get into as many group as you can,trust me your life will be easier.Oh for people who thought Matrik are for Smart people only then you are soo wrong. Not everyone here is straight As student even 3A can enter.
So thats all from me,I will post another one for anything you need to know as a Matrik student .
